The Early Pregnancy Loss in the Emergency Department training, created by FemInEM, consists of three educational modules about the identification and management of EPL and ectopic pregnancies in the ED, including best practices for diagnosis and treatment, point-of-care ultrasound use, and strategies to improve patient experiences throughout.
Those who complete the training can elect to receive up to 1.25 free Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits. CME credits are accepted by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and other professional accreditation organizations.
This training is being offered by the University of Illinois - Chicago College of Medicine's Center for Research on Women and Gender, RADIANT Fellowship, FemInEM, and the Illinois Department of Public Health.
